This is a compilation of the site. From these photos as well as personal experience at the site I have gathered data and information regarding the lighting, feel, mood, colours, etc.
An open area that is designed to harbour a natural garden theme within the busy CBD |
The area is surrounded by trees, as well as buildings. Vector Arena is located East to the site. |
Artistic as well as architectural structures have already been built on the site. |
South of the site are apartments. In order to design on the site, I may need to take in to consideration the effects on the neighbourhood. |
South of the site is a water feature. Perhaps I can utilise the effects that water has on light to strengthen the meanings of my own design. |
The times in which this photo was taken was 10:30am. From this, I am able to evaluate the position of the sun and the shadows the surrounding environment casts onto the site. |
A large area of walking and active space on the site, compared to the grassy area. |
The highlight of the site. When the sun rises above the building, it creates a glare of radiance that pierces the shadows. |
The BNZ building, from a differnt angle. |
