This is a compilation of the site. From these photos as well as personal experience at the site I have gathered data and information regarding the lighting, feel, mood, colours, etc.
An open area that is designed to harbour a natural garden theme within the busy CBD
The area is surrounded by trees, as well as buildings. Vector Arena is located East to the site.
Artistic as well as architectural structures have already been built on the site.
South of the site are apartments. In order to design on the site, I may need to take in to consideration the effects on the neighbourhood.
South of the site is a water feature. Perhaps I can utilise the effects that water has on light to strengthen the meanings of my own design.
The times in which this photo was taken was 10:30am. From this, I am able to evaluate the position of the sun and the shadows the surrounding environment casts onto the site.
A large area of walking and active space on the site, compared to the grassy area.
The highlight of the site. When the sun rises above the building, it creates a glare of radiance that pierces the shadows.
The BNZ building, from a differnt angle.
